I'm thinking that without Kari I would not be half the RPer I am today. She took my hand in the beginning and showed me the ropes, and then the most amazing bromance unfolded over the next year and a half, but luckily I managed to cling to her even beyond that, and we went on to have more excellent CR.
Alongside all this, she became a friend. She's been a support, a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with until the wee hours through there's an ocean between us, and for all that I will always be thankful. I don't see her as much these days, life being as it is, but I find to my delight that we can still pick up the conversation whenever we both have the time. And the chance I might have her in a game with me again makes me hop and skip about in hopeful anticipation.
